Abyss is a Greek visual artist and painter whose practice delves into themes of memory, identity, and transformation through a deeply emotional and often surreal lens. Her work combines figurative and abstract elements to explore the liminal space between consciousness and the subconscious.

Uniquely, she also creates paintings underwater while scuba diving, using the ocean as both medium and metaphor. These works emerge from immersive interactions with the sea, engaging with ideas of vulnerability, pressure, breath, and the boundary between control and surrender. Each underwater painting session becomes a ritual — a form of emotional excavation performed in real time within the abyss.

She has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions across Athens, London, and Rome, including at Saatchi Gallery, Serafeio (Athens Art Festival), and Medina Roma Art Fair, and has participated in digital residencies with international platforms.

Her background in law and art informs her interdisciplinary approach. She has served as legal counsel for creative organizations, bridging her knowledge of intellectual property and digital art markets with her visual practice.

She is currently based in Athens, Greece, where she works both in her studio and underwater.
